email.

To avoid their disappearance into the virtual mess of my email account, I'm sharing two goodies I received yesterday in my inbox from two of my favorite people:

Minha mãe querida on a comment I made months ago: "No, Caley, you're right.  I don't think Martha Stewart would want to be seen in New Bed, unless she was on one of those really expensive ships with a captain, back in the 1800's, and I think that would be stretching it for HER!  But hopefully she's been down to the historical district at the very expensive Irish pub where I had my scallops the last day I was there.  Take Care.  Gotta go again.
MOM"

Andra-face on General Electric (caps lock and size in original!):

"NOT ONLY DID THEY NOT OWE THE GOVT ANNNNNYYYYY MONEY BUT THEY GOT A TAX BENEFIT OF 1.1 BILLION DOLLARS. AND BOOOHOOO THEY FILED 7,000 TAX RETURNS. LET'S ALL COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR TAX EVASION! I PAID IN AFTER MAKING $5 AN HOUR. WTF"

Both so eloquently put... sigh. I miss home. But, when it starts looking like this outside, it sure feels a lot like home...

Of course, all this lovely white stuff is melting as I'm typing. I can even hear the pitter-pat outside. Hummmm.
