doggie.

We had a little fright this past week. Beloved little doggie-man Fritzie of 13 years was out of sorts. Apparently he swallowed a piece of dental floss he was playing with and inadvertently cut off his stomach functions. Didn't even want to eat his treats which is highly unusual for a poody-cat of his stature. Even though I haven't lived with Fritz for 6 years now (wow), I still can't imagine going home without his orange nose snubbing me. Or his general level of feline asshole-ness. But Mr. B and I sent lots of prayers anyway to the animal gods that be and luckily the big guy recouped his health. Which saved Kimmy in Africa a great deal of grief!

On the Mass. front, spring is alllllmost here. I've been trying to imitate all the green-ness that's lacking outside by cultivating as many house plants as possible without making it look like a greenhouse in here. This little guy on the right finally started growing again after I replanted him. And my amazing next door neighbor moved some of her green friends to a window near my front entrance. Aren't they pretty? Can't wait until spring is actually here. Green's the best. As are healthy kitties!
